The U Family at Redington Beach

When this family contacted me and asked me to capture their first EVER memories at the beach, how could I say no?  Not that I would ever say no to any beach session, but I’m absolutely honored to capture a family’s first experience at my beloved Redington Beach.  I think it’s safe to say that they LOVED it!  As soon as we arrived, little man bee lined straight for the ocean.  He just wanted to dip his little toesis in the warm gulf water.  I’ll be honest, it was a struggle to keep the kids away from the water long enough to get a few dry family portraits!  But luckily we did.  As soon as I gave the word that they could get wet and splash, they were in the ocean- clothes and all.  They plunged, splashed, swam, and thoroughly enjoyed all that the ocean has to offer!

There’s something about watching children experience a beach for the very first time that just fills up my heart.  It’s too easy to take the beach for granted when you’ve lived near beaches your entire life.  Cue the Moana theme song!  See the light where the sky meets the sea, it calls me!!!!  LOL  Special moments like this remind me how grateful I am to be apart of so much beach beauty as often as I am.  I hope you all enjoyed your very first beach sunset session!  I know I enjoyed being apart of your memories too!
