The S Family

When life gives you chilly air, crashing waves, and the most dramatic storm clouds ever, you take a family to the beach and photograph them!  Sometimes you gotta take what Mother Nature gives you, especially when you’re photographing a family who flies home the next day!  This happens to me all the time.  All the more reason to get out to the beach and take a chance.

Well my friends…we took a chance.  Yes, it was a little chillier for a Spring evening than it usually is.  Yes. there was seaweed all over the sand due to the crazy winds and waves (thank you Photoshop) and yes – THERE WAS A DOUBLE RAINBOW! You guys, when I saw that rainbow, I made this family sprint to the other side of the pier!  I’m sure they thought I was crazy for running for that rainbow but I don’t care!  I got it!  Rainbows come as quickly as they disappear! We ended this session with a little kite flying.  The wind definitely called for it!  I *may* have gotten hit once or twice by that crazy kite, but it was 100% worth it to see the look on her face as she flew!
