The N Family at Sand Key

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen a Florida sky look as confused as it did during this family/maternity session.  Don’t get me wrong, I loved every second of it.  But, I even found myself pausing in between shooting to marvel at its beauty.  When we arrived, it was overcast.  Then all of a sudden, the clouds started to part revealing one of the most dramatic sunsets I’ve ever seen.  I swear I heard the angels singing like you hear in the movies when something amazing happens.  And just as quickly as the sunset was revealed, a storm quickly approached.  Check out the ominous storm clouds!  Definitely made for a cool variety of backdrops.  And just as we reached the parking lot to go home, it poured buckets on us!

This sweet family from North Dakota enjoyed every last second on the beach.  I believe they told me that when they left their home to fly here, 3 inches of snow had just fallen.  I don’t know how the northerns do it!  Give me a beach and some white sand anyway over cold snow! I loved hanging out with this family.  Their accents totally reminded me of the mom from the cartoon show I used to watch in the 90s- Bobbys World.  She would always say “Dontcha kno?!” Hehe, it gave me a chuckle.  And yes, I just totally dated myself.  Doh!

N Family- thank you for all the laughs.  I hope our Florida storms don’t keep you away next year.  We got some really cool pictures out of it!
