Enchanting.  That’s the only word that comes to mind when describing this special location.  I’ve been photographing this sweet family since little miss Elliana was in her mom’s belly.  For this special session celebrating her second birthday, her mama wanted something “different.”  A challenge!  You know I can mostly be found at the beach (especially in the summer), so this jogged my mind a bit.  Coincidentally, a friend of mine had brought me to this special place in Dade City a week earlier to check it out with our babes.  I thought this would be perfect for a “different” session.

When we arrived, little missy was all smiles and hellos and I thought, “wow, this will be easy!!”  I might have been a little bit wrong.  LOL  As soon as the camera came out, Elliana had different plans for what she wanted to do.  She was not having it!!  Luckily, Yaya (grandma) was there to save the day!  She turned on some Greek music on her phone as quick as you could say “Opa!,” she was back to being a happy little girl.  She was dancing, clapping, and stomping her feet!  Now was the perfect time to have mommy twirl in that amazing skirt of hers! She definitely got the memo on dressing for success!  In fact, I loved this skirt so much that I went home and ordered one for myself 🙂

Happy second birthday Elliana!  Next time we meet, I’ll be sure to have a Greek playlist saved on my phone so we can “Opa!” again!

And because I absolutely love checking out the work of family photographers, I’m sharing  the work of a Family Photographer Rochester, NY.
