Family photography in Tampa…in the summer…truly can become a challenge.

If you know anything about the summer weather here in Florida, then you know it rains.  Everyday.  Sometimes the storms come and go and other days it just rains and rains and seems there is no end.  Well that happened to bee the case in the days leading up to our session.  So much so that the park where I like to shoot was flooded, including my favorite spot.  Enter PANIC MODE.  I scrambled around the open parts of the park and stumbled onto the dog beach portion of the park.  Ahhhhh….it was like heaven opened up.  Did I just stumble onto paradise?  YES!

Now for this family.. How gorgeous are they?  Not to mention they are so sweet, especially when I was in panic mode and scrambling around at rh last minute to find us a suitable spot.  You can definitely see the love shared between them all.  I just love photographing families like this.

This is the true definition of when life gives you lemons.. I will now be using this spot ON PURPOSE.  Thank you rain, for helping me find the silver lining.
