The D Family

If you know me or my style at all, you know I love a dramatic sky and sunset. Well at tonight’s session, it was OVERCAST which had mom a little worried. I knew the sun would peek back out, but the clouds were mesmerizing to me. There are two kinds of overcast skies: a big gray sky full of blah and flat light and this kind – clouds that look like cotton and reflect off the sun behind them. Thats why it always pays to leave your stress and anxiety to me. If I’m not panicked about the weather, you definitely shouldn’t be.
Our session got started a bit late due to a cut foot and blood all over a white shirt. But guess what?! Theres photoshop for that! Its never worth being late to a session because I can’t rewind the sun. Even though we seated a bit later, we still managed to get a lot of amazing images, including some drone shots! I was so excited to dust off my drone and fly it! The other beach I shoot at is a state park that doesn’t allow drones to fly. Boo! I guess that means I’ll just have to schedule more sessions here!
And kudos to mom for following my wardrobe guide! She rented by a company I recommended and her girls were in the most beautiful Tutu DuMonde dresses ever! Renting is a great option if you are only going to wear them once because they can be a bit on the pricier side. It’s one of my most favorite dresses for little girls and they coordinate so easily with one another.
Thank you so much for leaving it up to me, D Family! No blood, no tears, no ugly overcast skies and ALL beautiful, happy images!!
DANA!!!! my pastel loving heart exploded and those drone shots are INCREDIBLE
