Indian Rocks Photography…I will never ever tire of it.  Indian Rocks is one of my most favorite beaches.  It’s just so quaint, not very crowded, and I just love the vibe.  This lovely family was actually staying in Clearwater Beach, right next to the pier.  That happens to be an extremely packed area of the beach, so I suggested that we meet here instead. So glad we did!

As you may be able to tell from the images, little bro was NOT having it tonight.  He didn’t want to be let down for most of the session.  Although this isn’t the most ideal, this is nothing I’m not used to and doesn’t stress me out at all, despite parents getting flustered.  I always want each and every kid to feel comfortable.  I would never ever force any kid to do anything they didn’t want, so if he was happy in mommy’s arms, I’m going to take pictures of that! I also made sure to keep my distance in order to keep him comfortable, so many of these were shot with my long lens.  In fact, those images ended being some of my most favorite from our time together 🙂

As he started getting more used to me, he eventually wanted to play in the water with his big brother.  I even caught him smiling!  Big bro was the polar opposite!  He loved the camera, chatting with me, and playing all the games.  He has the sweetest smile too! I love showing this session because its the perfect way to illustrate that just because your kids don’t act how you ideally would want them to, that doesn’t mean that magic can’t be made!

K Family, thank you for being so flexible and coming out to my favorite beach to avoid the crowds!  I’d love to see you all again on your next trip!
