When this mama emailed me to schedule her session, she suggested that we shoot at her family home in Lutz.  Full transparency, I was nervous.  Why you ask?  I always feel a little uneasy about shooting at locations that I’m unfamiliar with.  I don’t know what I’m stepping into and most importantly, I don’t know how the light will be.

But this mom assured me that her property got amazing light.  Yep.  She wasn’t kidding.  Not only was the light perfect, but just wow.  How gorgeous.  I think I obnoxiously continued to compliment her on what a pretty property this was.  The deep purple bougainvillea at the front of the house, the vibrant yellow flower bushes, and HELLO!  A lake!  Complete with a dock!  Totally my dream come true.  She even had a mini horse stable on the property as well.  No, not horse stable that is tiny- but a stable for mini horses!  And BONUS – – – their house was literally minutes away from my own home.  Do you know how refreshing it was to leave for a session fifteen minutes before it started?  I typically have to leave over and hour before my sessions at the beach.  Being a Lutz family photographer can be tough sometimes… Ok I’m done gushing now.

On to this family.  We had such a silly time together.  Lots of laughs and poop jokes.  Are poop jokes ever not funny?  Even at 37 (gasp!  Yes, I’m 37) I still giggle at them.  And I have to give Kudos where it’s due.  Mom styled their outfits PERFECTLY.  I am loving their color palette. I totally wish I could get away with wearing a jumpsuit like Ashley, but I’ll just say this: short girl problems.  We ended the evening with a quick outfit change for the littles that they wore at a recent wedding.  I must say they looked like a prince and princess.  Love it!
