Aahhhh sunrise.  Most people are still sleeping during this quiet, calm time.  Yes, I usually am too.  But every once in a while, I pour myself that extra cup of coffee and make my way down to the beach to capture its beauty.  I have to admit though, sunrise sessions make me feel all kinds of backwards.  The golden light is at the very beginning of the session, rather than at the end.  My subjects are also front lit, rather than back lit which makes for a dramatic contrast in color.  I happen to love that because it makes the sky even more dramatic! And if you guys know me at all, you know I live for a dramatic sky.  You know what’s even better than a sunset session?  There is NO ONE at the beach at this time!  That means no extra photoshopping.  Ahhh.  Yes, yes, it is worth it!  So the next time you’re wondering if you should just go ahead and book a sunrise session drag yourself out of bed and DO IT!
