I cannot begin to explain my excitement for this session.  Not only was this my first official beach session since all of this quarantine madness, but it also included an amazing sky, a beautiful family, and ended with sparklers!  I have been so bummed during this quarantine.  So many rescheduled sessions.  Beaches closed.  Stuck in the house.  I didn’t even feel like picking up my camera.  But I finally got the chance to trade the dust on my camera for sand!  I truly did not know how much I needed to shoot again until the very first click.

And what a truly perfect session.  We had perfect weather.  The sky seemed to change every few minutes.  This sweet family truly enjoyed one another at their favorite spot on Ft Desoto Beach.  And we ended with sparklers!  And check out the sunset!  It was as if the stars aligned and the photography gods knew how much we all needed this.

I am happy to say that the beaches are now officially back open and it is now OK to schedule sessions again! I’m also running a summer special to give more families a chance to get their family portraits done because when it comes down to it- family and health is all we have! Especially the family we have been quarantined with for the past few months.  I can’t tell how how many times my girls pulled out our photo books and looked through all the happy memories we’ve made over the years.
