Oh Mr. Matthew.  He’s been such a busy boy ever since I started photographing him for this first birthday!  But the trick to photographing busy toddlers is to embrace it!  You CANNOT slow down a curious toddler.  Nope.  But you can find tricky ways to get them to look your way.  Jessica, Matthew and I explored the beautiful Sunken Gardens in St. Pete. She cleverly brought all of his favorite things.  A fire truck, his lovey, and most importantly: a big box of cookies!  LOL  As we walked around, we found some cool spots to play in and I was able to sneak in a few shots of him doing what he does best.  Playing!  He especially loved playing in the koi pond.  I love love love how these came out!  Sunken Gardens is so gorgeous and I need to shoot there more often!!
