Jaxon is One!

I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve shot at the beautiful Honeymoon Island State Park.  Jaxon just turned one, so we celebrated with some balloons, cake, and some naked swimming in the warm ocean! I also must say that I am so incredibly grateful for clients who go with the flow. I had the nerve to ask this sweet family to travel through a trench to get to a beautiful spot in the middle of the water all because of the pretty reflections I saw there! We were more than knee deep in water, but they were totally up for it. Thank you for letting me go with my vision. It was totally worth it! An epic Florida summer storm began to roll in just as we started smashing his cake, so we had to move quickly.  But you know what we did?  We turned lesson into lemonade and used those dramatic clouds as a backdrop.  I love the drama they bring to the background of the last few images!  And just as our luck would have it, it began to monsoon just as we got into our cars to go home.  Thank you rain for holding off until we were finished shooting!!  Happy First Birthday, little man.  I hope all of your wishes came true!
