Ashlee + Chris

All day long I had knots in my stomach.  Chris and I have had this plan for a couple of months now and the day was finally here.  But you know what else was here?  WIND!  I’m not talking about a gentle breeze that tickles your face and makes you giggle… I’m talking about hurricane force winds that make you hold on for dear life!  Now had this been a family session, I would have had to reschedule.  But since this is a couples session, I decided to go with it anyway.  We were going to make this wind WORK FOR US!

When I arrived at their hotel on Madeira Beach, I have to say I had to give myself a pep talk to deal with this wind.  Because not only was the wind a factor, sand, salt, and sea foam were flying around!  So I decided to make this a moody couples session.  And why not?!  We had a proposal to capture and love to celebrate!  After a few cheesy back to back poses that gave Chris some time to dig into his pocket without Ashlee noticing, I told her to turn around and he popped the question.  Spoiler alert – SHE SAID YES!

Now we had some celebrating to do!  They sat in the huge waves, got pummeled, and didn’t even seem to notice because they were so excited.  Aaaah love.  Don’t you just love it?!  Congratulations Ashlee and Chris!  I’ll never forget this session!
