Cleo is one!!  Hooray!  First of all, how adorable is her name?  I’m in love with it!  We decided to celebrate Cleo’s first birthday with a session that included her beloved pup, Pepper.  Photograph a toddler and a busy doggie all at once?  SURE!  Super easy, right?!  LOL  But seriously, Philippe is the perfect park to bring your dog, especially if you’re going to do a photo session for them.

As I photographed this beautiful family, I got to know them a little better.  They have the coolest story!  Mom is from China and dad was born here.  He went to China to teach English and that’s where he met and fell in love with Erin.  Now they are going to take turns living here and in China with Cleo (and Pepper too!).  How amazing is that?!  And..can I come too?!  I’ve always wanted to go to China!  One day I WILL!!

It was certainly a pleasure getting to know you all.  I love listening to other families satires.  I find each of them so unique and fascinating. Cleo, happy birthday little one!  You are such a doll!
