Kate and Rowan  – A Special Mommy and Me Session

This!  This session set my soul on fire.  Kate is a fellow photographer and friend who asked me to shoot a special nursing session for her and her sweet little babe.  Now when a friend who also happens to be a photographer asks me to shoot a session for her, I don’t take that lightly.  I take it as an honor and a privilege!  It was a gloomy, chilly morning but honestly I loved how it added to the mood of this.  We met in a…wait for it…parking lot!  But with the right angles and lenses, you can make anything look magical: including a field in a parking lot.  You guys, we made MAGIC in this field.  Motherhood magic.  Raw, organic, and intimate without the cheesy smiles.  I wish I could share all the images with you, but in the interest of not putting it allllll out there, I’ll leave these favorites here.  I need more of this in my life!  Now who wants to schedule a mommy and me session?!   I need to shoot another one…like yesterday!
